 KSNIPTV Script Writing Rules  
Contest Start Date is January 1, 2017 Contest Ends June 15, 2017. All Script Entries must be received by June 5, 2017. by email 
to ksniptv@gmail.com.  
2. All entries must include an original screenplay between 50 and 150 pages, a completed entry form, a signed release form, a short synopsis and the appropriate entry fee(s) $15/Script-US, $10/Script-Africa. Payments can be paid by Check or Money Order and Mailed to KSNIPTV 4470 W Sunset blvd. #7688 Los Angeles, Ca 90027-6302 3. There is no limit to the number of screenplays you may enter, but a separate entry form, a separate release, and required entry fee must accompany each screenplay. If submitting more than one script, you may enter up to three at a time using our online form. To enter more than 3, simply repeat the process and if you enter them on the same day, they will be eligible for the multiple script discount which is $10/Script-US-$5/Script-Africa. The reduced value for multiple script submissions is not valid with any other discount offer. 4. Your submission must be an original script (no adaptations unless you have the rights to the work you are adapting) written in the English language. The screenplay submission must NOT be published, produced, sold, or under option at the time of submission. Script must be between 50-150 pages in length. All pages must be numbered, and no writing is permitted on the spine of the script. Your name should NOT appear anywhere on the script. Personal information should only be included on the entry form you submit along with each script. 
5. A short synopsis (no more than one page) must be included for each screenplay you submit. Only the title of your screenplay should appear on the synopsis. Your name or other personal information should NOT appear anywhere on the synopsis. The synopsis will NOT be used to judge the screenplay; it will only assist in our tracking process. Once your entry has been accepted by our system, an email request for synopsis will be sent to you. 6. Cash prize awards for the 2017 scriptwriting competition will be: First Prize, $750 , Second Prize $500 cash, Third Prize-$100 cash, Fourth Prize $50. Finalists will be judged based on their submissions. All Top Twenty Scripts will be judged & suggestions for Re-write.will be given to the writer(s) . Individuals from the film and screenwriting industries will judge the preliminary rounds of the competition. All scripts reaching the quarterfinals will be re-read and 10 finalists will be selected to be judged by a panel of industry experts. The quarter finalists will be posted on our Website and notified August 1, 2017. Finalists will be selected thereafter according to our judges' schedules. Notification deadline may change depending on the judge's schedules. Staff of KSNIPTV or their family members are not eligible to enter the Script Writing Contest.​8. Judging will be anonymous. Your name, address, phone number, email, and title of your script should be included on a cover page that is NOT attached to the script (this is not necessary in the case of online entries). Your name should NOT appear anywhere on the script. Each script will be tracked and judged by a number that we will assign which will be linked to your personal information to ensure an impartial process. All judges’ decisions are final. 9. Script collaborations are allowed, however, each writers name must be included on the entry form, and the work must be the sole and exclusive property of all entrants. In the event that a collaborative script is judged to be a prize-winning entry and/or the script submission is awarded a draw prize, the winners are responsible for division of the prizes awarded. 10. KSNTV IPTV recommends you copyright your scripts with the Library of Congress and/or register it with the WGA.11. Submitted materials will not be returned. Keep a copy for your records.
